About this workshop
From self-organization to small and bigger projects during your studies everything needs to be organized in the same way – either with the help of classical or agile project management methods. In this workshop you will learn all fundamentals you need to know for successfully managing your (first) projects.
Content
- different classical project management model (waterfall approach, V-model, Prince 2, PMI)
- different phases, their results and their requirements (from project order to project finalization)
- the role of the project manager and his/her responsibilities
- project organization in a nutshell (project organizational chart, project planning – different charts, project budget planning)
- project controlling and status reporting (what to control, basic elements of a status report/dashboard)
- responsibilities of project team member
- project communication (different meeting types, basics about feedback, basics about conflicts)
- key facts about agile project management (agile values and principals, agile mindset)
- overview about some agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- benefits of a Kanban board (how to use it for your personal organization and time planning)
