The motto of our University is "Studying in green surroundings". And that can be taken literally: both campuses offer ample opportunities to relax in the grounds between or after lectures or to make use of the sporting facilities. The university campus in Magdeburg was once even voted the second most beautiful campus in Germany.

The University is a recognised partner to business and society. Over 200 academics in the different disciplines, ultra-modern laboratories and equipment, and extremly well educated students and graduates are available for research projects.

Over two sites applicants can choose from approximately 50 different courses. The 130 professors offer an excellent staff-student ratio to the approx. 4,400 students in Magdeburg and 2,200 students in Stendal.

We exclusively offer Bachelor's and Master's study programmes. Extensive practical internships are integrated into the courses. The quality of courses in respect of specialist knowledge and methodology has been verified by accreditation agencies.
