Applied Human Sciences

The Department of Applied Human Sciences on the Stendal site offers four unique degree programmes in Germany, with its specialisations in Rehabilitation Psychology, Applied Childhood Studies and Childhood Pedagogy.

Engineering and Industrial Design

The Department of Engineering and Industrial Design on the Magdeburg site sets out to provide academic training relevant to the professional field of future engineers and designers, as well as application- and transfer-oriented research.

Social Work, Health and Media

The Department of Social Work, Health and Media will combine future-proof and innovative teaching and research in the fields of social work, health, journalism and communication. Interdisciplinarity and practical relevance are an integral part of all courses.

Economics

At the Stendal Department of Economics, students are prepared for demanding roles in all aspects of commerce and in the field of management. The range of courses includes campus-based as well as distance learning and continuing education programmes.

Water, Environment, Construction and Safety

In the Department of Water, Environment, Construction and Safety, engineering and natural science subjects combine to create study programmes such as Civil Engineering, Water Management, Recycling and Waste Management or the unique course in Safety and Hazard Defense.
