Raneem Asasa from Syria works as a clerk for water management fundamentals at the Saxony-Anhalt State Office for Flood Protection and Water Management (LHW) in Halle. After completing her bachelor's degree in civil engineering in Syria, she studied for a master's degree in water engineering until 2023. After her mandatory internship at the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection and Environment (MWU) of Saxony-Anhalt in the field of flood protection, she wrote her master's thesis in cooperation between MWU, LHW and h2.
