Our Sports and Health Center
In addition to the numerous sports and counseling offers, the Sports and Health Center provides the opportunity for innovative learning, teaching, working and taking a break and thus sees itself as a modern exercise, counseling and break center for all members.
The best thing about it: Everything can be found in house 15 on the Magdeburg campus. In addition to our offices, where we are available for all questions and concerns, you will find other interesting rooms there, which we have pictured here. In addition, the university has numerous other sports facilities.

Sports Facilities
A variety of sports facilities await athletic activity at both locations:

Our sports facilities are very well equipped and are available for free use in addition to sports courses. For fixed playing times they can be reserved by means of a room use request. The corresponding equipment can also be borrowed.
The outdoor movement course is a special sports facility and our outdoor highlight. In addition to the centerpiece, a calisthenics facility, numerous other stations invite you to train outdoors, demanding a lot of strength and stamina from the athletes and providing a varied workout. In addition to instructed university sports courses, free training is also possible here. In Stendal the facility is located behind building 3, in Magdeburg it is in planning.
Our glass gym has 126 m² and is centrally located on the Magdeburg campus. It serves as a sports facility for Magdeburg University Sports, as part of teaching for movement-oriented modules of various courses of study, and as a training room for third parties. It is equipped with state-of-the-art audio technology and multifaceted equipment for the most diverse settings.
Seminar room
The "moving" seminar room is a multifunctional seminar and consulting room for up to 20 people, where innovation, health and learning come together. Movement is the focus here. Folding and rolling tables that can be folded or adjusted in height within seconds, ergonomic and smart seating furniture as well as treadmills and seat wheels can be found here. In this way, numerous utilization concepts can be applied for teaching and learning in motion. Technically, the room is also state-of-the-art. A smartboard enables comfortable and contemporary teaching, scripts and recordings of the event can be stored, sent and uploaded quickly and easily. The room can be booked by all members of the university.

Coworking
Workspace wanted? The coworking room offers four flexible workstations and is available to all members of the university. With its modern ergonomic seating and standing elements, the room serves to promote a concentrated and healthy posture during work and study. The workstations also have lockable storage space. A consultation corner with pinboard and whiteboard is available, as is modern printing technology. The workstations and storage can be booked per hour or by day.
Bookings can be made via the central room allocation system central room allocation system (LSF).
Break room
Between the events our green campus invites you to linger. There are also break rooms at both locations. In the break room in Magdeburg, house 15 room 1.12, you will find a foosball table as well as a large couch and other ergonomic seating furniture. In Stendal, the room can be found in house 3 room 0.08.
