Prorectorate for University Governance and Marketing
The measures coordinated by this office aim to strike a balance between the university's regional ties and service provision role, on the one hand, and the quality of its programmes in terms of internationally respected standards, on the other. In this way, the university's reputation as a productive and innovative institution should gain recognition across all spheres of public, political, business, cultural and scientific life. Currently the Prorector's Office is setting up university-wide performance auditing. This will provide not only the university administration but also the public at large with detailed, continuous and up-to-date information on the content and quality of academic research and teaching.
To satisfy the requirement for a sound information base for university management, high standards of data, methods and process quality are of paramount value. Only these will ensure that results are consistently up-to-date, complete and transparent, in line with the demands of internal and external audiences alike.
