German-as-a-foreign-language courses for international students
Welcome to the teaching area "German as a Foreign Language"! Enter the fascinating world of the German language. We offer language courses at levels A1 to C1, based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
We do not only aim to teach you, but also to take you on a linguistic journey.
Our experienced lecturers know that learning a new language requires time, patience and sometimes discipline - especially for the German language. They will be passionate about guiding you to improve your language skills while you study in a creative and supportive environment on our green university campus.
Regardless of your level of German, we offer courses that are tailored to your individual needs.
Dive into the dynamic world of multinational groups where we focus on interactive lessons, intensive conversation, and practical exercises. We will also support you in expanding your vocabulary and improving your grammar skills in additional exercises. You will not only enhance your German language skills, but also your self-confidence in speaking German in real life situations.
Our program is complemented by cultural activities and excursions organized by the International Office. Experience the German culture first-hand and use your language skills in authentic settings: museum visits to city rallies and city trips.
Learning a new language and culture opens up new possibilities, expands your professional opportunities and creates great connections with people in Magdeburg and throughout Germany. Sign up for one of our language courses and discover the countless opportunities the German language has to offer.
